Call: Apps for The Hague

Submissions may be any kind of software application, be it for the web, a personal computer, a mobile handheld device or any software platform broadly available to the public. Urban games and playful interventions that introduce new ideas into the city streets, and perhaps engaging local inhabitants in new, surprising or special experiences, are preferred. Apps could be focused on tracking and/or recording the movement of people and/or objects or augmenting every day urban experiences, which are normally unrecognised or invisible.

TodaysArt  invites artists, designers, creative technologists to propose new applications for the city of The Hague.
Existing projects that can be adapted are welcomed. All submissions must be designed for – or adapted to – the urban area of The Hague.

TodaysArt will select the three best applications, which will be awarded 500 euro each!
The deadline for applications is the 9th of September. If you would like to propose a project, please contact us.

Each submission must include:
• A link to the working software application
• A link to video of the application
• A text-based description of the application
• At least one still photograph of the working application
• Original software applications solely owned by the entrant(s)
